Ballard & Shortall shows support for Hartfield Village Fete

Ballard & Shortall, a leading family funeral directors in Forest Row, supported this year’s Hartfield Village Fete and Flower Show by raising nearly £160 for the local community.

Ballard & Shortall, a CPJ Field-owned company, sponsored this year’s event, which took place earlier this month at The Croft Football Ground and supplied a fun, inflatable slide for families to enjoy.

Raising money for Hartfield organisations and projects, the fete included activities such as a coconut shy, skittles, a raffle, a ‘beat the goalie’ game and a barn dance in the evening.

David Holmden, funeral Director at Ballard & Shortall, Forest Row said: “Supporting the local community is incredibly important to us and we are so proud to have sponsored the Hartfield Fete this year. It was a successful day, with colleagues from the branch and members of the community participating in the competitions and activities, which were enjoyed by all.”
