Sometimes putting emphasis on flexibility or a greater feeling of job satisfaction and enrichement is what makes the career change worthwhile. To enter the funeral profession, many start as funeral service team members or funeral arrangers with no relevant experience other than a strong sense of compassion, empathy and commitment. At CPJ Field we have our own training academy and a fully comprehensive induction process meaning someone with no experience can comfortably join the team and expect to learn and be supported through the necessary training to provide the highest levels of care and support for the families we serve. There are apprenticeships, awareness programmes, and certifications offered via the NAFD and BIFD. Can I work on a part-time basis or casually?
At CPJ Field, we have many roles that would suit over 50’s who may be looking to return to the workforce and take on a new challenge, but who don’t want to work full-time due to other commitments.
