Tim Jones
Funeral Director, Hove
I started working for CPJ Field as a Funeral Director at Attree and Kent in Hove. I have worked in the funeral profession for over 35 years. My first role was as a Driver, Bearer and Coffin Finisher. I quickly realized that I had found my calling.
I qualified as a Funeral Director in 1989 and as an Embalmer in 1992. I have worked at all levels of the profession. Looking after the families that call on us is a privilege. I look to guide and support them through one of the worst periods of their lives. Myself and my team in Hove strive to make every funeral a true reflection of the person.
I am a Bereavement Support Volunteer for Marie Curie and a Volunteer Driver for Dog’s Trust, Shoreham. Both these roles enable me to give something back to the community and meet the wonderful dog foster parents and the gorgeous dogs in their care.
I am a former rugby prop forward, coach and referee. I finally hung up my boots at the age of 54. To relax I go to the gym 4 times a week and enjoy spending time with my family and taking our dog, Bailey for long walks.
