Funeral Arranger and Administration, Hove
I joined CPJ Field two years ago as a Funeral Arranger Administrator. I wanted to work in a role that has the ability to make a positive difference to the people of the local community in Hove. I love my job and the team I work with, along with meeting so many different people. It is very humbling to be in a position where I can support families through one of their most difficult times and see the positive impact we have when taking all the worry away.
In my spare time, I am generally busy with various activities, such as meeting friends, sewing projects, entertaining my four cats, and spending time with my husband.

I was born and raised in London and moved to Sussex in 2002. I started with CPJ Field in September 2016 as a Funeral Arranger and Community Champion for Sussex Coast. In October 2018 I started my training to become a qualified Embalmer.
My role is to care for the deceased person as if they were a member of my own family. Preparing families to say their final goodbyes and I aim to always provide a positive experience for families.
I don’t get much spare time, but I do enjoy baking cakes or spending time with family and friends.

I started working for CPJ Field as a Funeral Director at Attree and Kent in Hove. I have worked in the funeral profession for over 35 years. My first role was as a Driver, Bearer and Coffin Finisher. I quickly realized that I had found my calling.
I qualified as a Funeral Director in 1989 and as an Embalmer in 1992. I have worked at all levels of the profession. Looking after the families that call on us is a privilege. I look to guide and support them through one of the worst periods of their lives. Myself and my team in Hove strive to make every funeral a true reflection of the person.
I am a Bereavement Support Volunteer for Marie Curie and a Volunteer Driver for Dog’s Trust, Shoreham. Both these roles enable me to give something back to the community.
I am a former rugby prop forward, coach and referee. I finally hung up my boots at the age of 54. To relax I go to the gym 4 times a week and enjoy spending time with my family and taking our dog, Bailey for long walks.

I joined Attree & Kent as a Funeral Arranger in November 2023. After 10 years of being a children’s entertainer, I decided to close that chapter and begin my journey into the funeral profession as it has always been a long-held ambition of mine. I love working with the public and hearing about their loved ones. Everyone has a different story so I like to see how ourselves and the family can reflect that in their funeral.
I hope to further explore my career one day and become an Embalmer as I believe everyone deserves to be cared for at all stages of their lives.
In my spare time I tend to spend it with my two children or you’ll often find me making hair bows whilst watching a good documentary.
