If you are wanting to find out more about fitness, Never Alone can help get you more active.
Most of us find that by getting fitter, we feel better mentally as well as physically. It’s particularly helpful if you’ve recently experienced a major event, such as the death of someone close to you and you want to take a small step and find an outlet in the form of a new activity or sport.
There are many local fitness classes near you from vigorous exercise to more moderately paced activities and our Never Alone programme can help you find these.
As a family company with decades of experience, we can help you to find the right support as part of our Never Alone programme. Never Alone is open to all and can help you get the emotional, social, or practical support you need. We also run a number of our own community initiatives, including coffee mornings, knit and natter and inter-generational meet-ups in the local communities in which we serve. We hope that by supporting families in our communities we can help reduce loneliness and encourage greater mental health benefits.
Our Never Alone programme offers recommendations, groups and resources that are local to you. You could join a mindfulness workshop to improve your wellbeing. You could find a coffee morning to meet new people in a similar situation. For greater fitness, we recommend walking groups, dancing groups, running groups, yoga and pilates groups and more.
