My deepest condolences on the passing of Michael Coleman. I only ever knew him as Mr Coleman my geography teacher at Willian School. He was a great teacher and very well respected by his many pupils at the time I was there in the late 60’s and early 70’s. His was one of the lessons I enjoyed greatly because of his teaching and I will always remember the field trip that we went on to the village of Ashwell, not very far away but a great pleasure just the same. This world could do with more teachers like him. Respect to you Mr Coleman for the great job that you did. Now it’s your time to rest in eternal peace πŸ™πŸ’™

Mr Coleman was my teacher, he was my mothers colleague (Sheilah Howard) and a good freind. We stayed in the caravan in Spain. La Manga. My mum and dad sadly are now both deceased but would have been sad to hear of Mikes passing. I remember a lovely teacher who made geography so interesting. My condoleces to the family.

Many wonderful memories of Mr Coleman not only at the school but at his home. Remember helping him to lay a concrete hard standing at the main house before he had the new house built. Also looking after his old dog, Simba when he was away on holiday.
