Jill was such a beautiful, talented, kind, selfless, humble person with a wonderful sense of humour. I was one of her pilates clients for a number of years and have continued her routines since leaving. I have dear Jill to thank for remaining agile in spite of arthritis. I am so sad she is gone and can only begin to imagine how devastated you all feel to have lost her Iain, Jillian, Innes and Heather. I am thinking of you all with deepest sympathy.

To Iain and family

I got to meet Jill from time to time during the early 1980s [when I recall I shared a common interest with Iain in dingy Edinburgh pubs]. Despite the relatively few years that I was fortunate enough to spend some social occasions in Jill’s company, and despite the intervening years, I still retain a warm memory of her gentleness and kindness.

It was with deep sorrow that I learned of Jill’s illness and passing. I take some solace knowing that her spirit will live on in those she loved.

My heartfelt commiserations and best wishes to you all.

Unforgettable Jill, still so very present in my mind when I stretch my fascia every morning! I can still see her vividly in my mind, guiding us, encouraging us and inspiring us at every lesson. Her classes were the best and we always turned up, every Monday evening for 5 years, even in Winter! She taught us patiently everything she knew.
We will keep her in our heart,

Jill was the gentlest and kindest person and always so pleased to come and see our children. We have some great photos of her holding babies. She was so patient as a mother and a true inspiration to us - parenting isn't easy but she was a natural. Jill really was one in a million and always keen to ask how we were getting on and full of energy and love. We feel priviledged to have had her as our auntie/great auntie. Sending you all so much love. ❤️
