Thomas William James Carr (Tom)
Tom died on 9th January 2024 after a prolonged battle with mental health and addiction issues. Despite his struggles, he held family and friends close to his heart and he was never happier than when everyone was together with him. He had a cheeky, good-hearted smile and he eternally wanted to please people. Tom was a man with the softest of hearts, he was a most loving man and he will be hugely missed.
Tom was always active and he loved the outdoors. He delighted in sharing his passions with his cherished son Jackson. He wouldn’t think twice about taking on new outdoor challenges, from driving a fast car round Silverstone to bungee jumping. He was an accomplished drummer, he regularly played at gigs and recorded songs for the public domain. His exacting nature meant that he excelled in his flooring skills, which received many plaudits and recommendations.
Tom’s sudden death was a shock to all of us and he will always be held dear. ‘To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die’ - Thomas Campbell
