Miss Mary Patricia Burke (Maureen) passed away peacefully at Royal Sussex County Hospital on Wednesday 28th August at 23.15 aged 84
Maureen was a beloved sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Maureen was born on March 17th 1940 in Ireland. After finishing school, she came to the UK and trained as a Nurse, eventually becoming a Theatre Nurse. Throughout her career, she was known for her hard work, dedication and passion for helping others.
Maureen was one of five children, Gus, Maureen, Michael, William and Frank.
Maureen now leaves behind Gus, Michael and William.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cancer Research.
