Hope to hang out with you again before too long, old buddy. Let's write another book together with all our new free time or start a book club.... Continuing to think of you always.
Others from the Southdown Tennis Club may write and attend but I’ll take this opportunity to reflect the overwhelming view there. David was and is loved, so highly regarded as a fine man and someone to be proud of as a friend, always a laugh, always a good guy. Sorely missed and an asset to any doubles team, too canny by half as an opponent!
Privilege to have known you David. I will miss our gardening discussions!
David and I became friends on our first day at primary school, 1947. Farewell my friend of seventy seven years! Heartfelt condolences to Jill, to David's Family and to all who grieve his passing as I do.
We were very sorry to hear the sad news. David did so much for Sussex and for local authors, and will be missed. Helen and Geoff
Hwaet! In memory of our very dear friend. Chris & Carol
Such good memories of a truly good person.
You are and will continue to be greatly missed, Dave.
Your 'Warsaw family' is in attendance on this sad day,
with love and wishes for your whole family.
Farewell David. From the moment I met you you made me smile, as you did everyone. Your light burns bright.
Dearest David,
I always enjoyed playing with you on court, you were always kind and cheery. Latterly, in the past year I have been unable to play and often had a nice chat with you doing the Waitrose shop. With love, Angela xx
David, always a gentleman xx
In fond memory of one of the kindest men I have ever known, who made my closest friend happy for many years. I wish it had been many more.
Fond memories of David when the children were little. Thinking of his family at this sad time
Farewell David, it is a privilege to have known you and enjoyed your company at Downlands Keep Fit for the past 37 years. May you Rest in Peace.
