I’m pleased to make this donation in your memory. I know that seeing the little visitors to your garden made you happy.
We shared a love for football and Liverpool FC and I’ll miss our chats and analysis of the Reds.

Dear Mike
Still can’t believe you’re not here anymore. I’ll miss your wicked sense of humour and genuine caring nature. You were such an amazing cousin and taken far too soon.

This is really hard to write. Mike was my closest friend. There was an ease to Mike, he was on my wavelength and we had the very best and the most ridiculous conversations. Barely a day went by without us messaging something. Didn’t matter if it was a silly meme or a serious topic, it would be met with the same enthusiasm and wit. We’d run things by each other, for music we were writing or for a game we were playing. If there was something wrong, we’d try to put it right or just share our pains.

He was such a good friend to me and to everyone else. Mike wasn’t perfect and that’s what made him Mike, that’s what makes us all who we are. He was special though, he was my dearest friend and I’ll miss him more than I have the words for. A part of me went with him and it won’t ever come back. I feel so sad without my dude. But I know he wouldn’t want me sad for too long. There was always something silly to make us smile and laugh, even in the worst times.

It truly pains me to say goodbye to you Mike. Something I knew would come, yet that makes it no easier. Goodbye my friend, farewell my dude, so long and thanks for all the fish.
