Dear Sarah, Lucio, Nico and Dasha,
We are all really sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. Your „Helen mum“ was such a special person. We only spent one evening in Osimo with her years ago, but we still remember her so well - she was so lively, interested, curious and also funny, that she really impressed us and we still remember this wonderful evening.
We can Imagine that she will be deeply missed. It is „the Circle of life“, but a final farewell is always just terribly sad.
Our thoughts are with you all and your family and we are wishing you comfort and strength in the time ahead.

We first met many years ago at a hotel in Frankfurt. It was breakfast if I’m not mistaken. Sarah and I had arranged to meet up at the book fair and knowing your love of books, you decided to join us. Over the last 20 years, we have shared stories and laughter at numerous family celebrations. Mum was at several of these and she reminded me of the time you were living in Osimo and your trips together to the market or shops when she happened to be in Italy at the same time.
