In memory of
Marina Viscountess Bury
On the 8th of June Marina sadly succumbed to a brief illness.
A small funeral will be held on the 10th of July at East Chiltington Church, Lewes, East Sussex BN7 3BA. 10.00am for 11.00 o'clock start at the church

We are allowed only 30 people inside the church so the reality of the day will be
that a majority of those who wish to attend will be outside the church. We will have
a PA system for you to follow the service. Could everybody meet not at the church but alternatively at the Jolly Sportsman Public house before 10.15…. Where you can park your car and there will be offered tea & coffee.
At 10.30... the gathering at the Jolly Sportsman will be joined by the vehicle carrying Marina's casket and I would like to invite you all to make a procession behind the Hearse up the hill for the remaining 300 meters (900 yard) to the church.
Please feel free to wear sombre but practical clothing in case the weather is inclement. I will supply umbrellas and face masks at the church in case you feel the need to be safe or dry.
If you feel that you cannot follow the procession a limited number of cars can carry passengers up to the church before 10.30 am to either drop-off or park.
Please note this will not allow you access to the church because all the 30 places have been already given to immediate family & friends. In any case outside you will be able to social distance more affectively.
After the service there will be the burial for those who wish to remain but alternatively some refreshments will be served at the Jolly Sportsman for the congregation who are invited to go directly there.
