Charity Donations
Donating money or fundraising for a charity in memory of a loved one can be a purposeful tribute. Likewise sending a floral tribute.
At CPJ Field, we will set up an obituary page for your loved one on our website where friends and family will be able to leave messages of condolence, upload photos, make tributes and place monetary donations that will go to your chosen charity or charities.
We are able to collect donations on your behalf, both on and offline. Via the online obituary page for your loved one, you will have access to the running total.
In approximately 6-8 weeks following the funeral, we will close the online charity collection service on the obituary page and it is at this point when no further online donations can be made.
Any offline donations received, whether that be through cash, cheque, via BACS or collected during the funeral service, will be gathered together and a cheque with accompanying letter is then sent on your behalf to the chosen charity or charities. A further letter will be sent to you confirming the total amount received from both on and offline donations, together with a list of the donor names for your records. (No monetary values are shared).
All online donations are sent to your chosen charity or charities weekly via Memory Giving.
Depending on the chosen charity, you may also receive a separate letter from them giving thanks for your donation.
